北宋元祐二年（1087年）复置。⑴治所即今河北曲周县曲周镇。⑵次年复废。

⑵嘉庆《清一统志》卷11《广平府二》：“在今曲周县东北。……高齐省。开皇六年复置，属洺州。大业二年省。武德四年于曲周故城重置。《宋史·地理志》：熙宁三年省曲周县为镇，入鸡泽。元祐二年复为县，寻复为镇。四年依旧为县。按：唐县去州道默契较今县多四十里，盖宋时移今治也。”（四部丛刊本，第11册，第2页）
