梁天监元年（502年）置，为开江郡治，隋开皇十年郡废，改属静州，大业二年（606年）废入豪静县（1）。治所在今广西昭平县东南马江镇（2）。

注：
（1）《隋书》卷31地理下：始安郡，“梁置桂州。平陈，置总管府，大业元年府废。统县十五。”龙平县：“梁置静州，梁寿、静慰二郡。平陈并废，又置归化县。大业初州废，又废归化、安乐、博劳三县入焉。”豪静县：“梁置开江、武城二郡。陈置逍遥郡。平陈郡并废。又有猛陵、开江二县，大业初并废入焉。”（中华书局，1973年，3册，883页）。《元和志》作大业二年废。
（2）开江唐复置于长庆更名马江。《嘉庆一统志》卷67·平乐府·古迹：“马江废县，在昭平县东南。…县志，废县今为马江里。”（《四部丛刊续编》，商务印书馆，1934年，175册）。马江里今为马江镇。 ]]>
