CHGIS 浮护县（502-589年）治所（张修桂编写）

梁天监元年（502年）置，属清远郡（1）。治所姑定于今广东省佛冈县西南浮良（2）。隋开皇十年（590年）废入清远县。

（1），《隋书》卷31?地理下?南海郡?清远县：“旧置清远郡，又分置威正、廉平、恩洽、浮护等四县。平陈并废，以置清远县。又齐置齐康郡，至是亦废入焉。”（北京，中华书局，1973年，3册，881页）。《元和郡县图志》卷34?广州?清远县：“本汉中宿县地也，梁武帝于此置清远郡，中宿县属之。隋开皇十年废郡，置清远县，属广州。”（北京，中华书局，下册，890-891页）。今据此作梁武帝天监元年置清远郡，又分置威正、廉平、恩洽、浮护等四县属清远郡。
（2），故址无考。1995年《广东省历史地图集》梁、陈时期的广东，作不定点于清远县东北、佛冈县西，今佛冈县西有地名浮良，姑定点于此。
