声乡县（公元14-22年）治所（傅林祥编写）

王莽天凤元年（公元14年）以茶陵县改名。⑴治所在今湖南茶陵县驻地城关镇东北八团乡古城营（俗称茶王城）。⑵属填蛮郡。⑶刘玄更始元年（公元23年）复名茶陵县。⑷

⑵宋本《太平寰宇记》卷115《江南西道十三》：“又按《图经》云：茶陵者，所谓陵谷名焉。今攸县东一百四十里茶陵故城，是汉为理所，俗名茶王城。”
《读史方舆纪要》卷80《湖广六》：“古茶王城，《城冢记》：在州东五十里，汉元朔中，节侯所筑，盖即茶陵节侯訢也。”（北京，中华书局，第4册，第3432页）
