CHGIS 常州（620-741年）治所

唐武德三年（620），改毗陵郡置常州，治晋陵县⑴。领晋陵、义兴、无锡3县。七年（624），析义兴县置南兴州，境域缩小。八年（625），义兴县复属常州，常州辖境扩大。武德九年（626），江阴县来属，辖境再次扩大。天宝元年（742），改常州为晋陵郡⑵。此间常州辖境屡有变化，但治所不变。
