CHGIS 荆州（190年——208年）治所

东汉初平元年（190年）徙治置。治襄阳县（今湖北襄樊市襄阳城）。领有零陵、桂阳、武陵、长沙等郡。（1）建安十四年（209年）迁治公安县（今湖北公安县北）。（2）

（1）《资治通鉴》卷59《汉纪五十一》初平元年（190年）：刘表为荆州刺史，蒯越曰：“兵集众附，南据江陵，北守襄阳，荆州八郡可传檄而定。”表诱杀宗贼帅，“遂徙治襄阳，镇抚郡县，江南悉平。”（北京，中华书局，1956年，5册，1914页）《后汉书》志第22《郡国志四》荆州领有南阳郡、南郡、江夏郡、零陵郡、桂阳郡、武陵郡、长沙郡。（北京，中华书局，1965年，12册，3476——3485页）按：据胡《注》，《郡国志》七郡。《汉官仪》以章陵，足为八郡。是当时荆州治襄阳（今湖北襄樊市襄阳城）。领有零陵、桂阳、武陵、长沙等郡。
（2）《三国志》卷47《吴书?孙权传》建安十四年（209年）：“（刘）备领荆州牧，屯公安（今湖北公安县北）。”（北京，中华书局，1975年，5册，1118页）又《太平寰宇记》卷146《山南东道五?荆州》公安县：即后汉作唐县地，属吴之南郡。《荆州记》云：“吴大帝推先主为左将军荆州牧，镇油口，即居此城。时号先主为‘公’，故名其城为公安。”（金陵书局，光绪八年刊本） ]]>
