武德元年（618年）置虞乡县，属蒲州。贞观十七年（643年）省解县并入虞乡，属蒲州。贞观二十二年（648年）省入解县①。治所在今永济县东虞乡镇②。

解，“隋虞乡县。武德元年改为解县，属虞州。蒲州别置虞乡县。贞观十七年省解县，并入虞乡。二十二年复析置解县，属蒲州”。虞乡，“贞观十七年省解县并入虞乡县。二十二年复置解县，省虞乡”。
