唐天宝元年（742年）以柏仁县改名。⑴治所即今河北隆尧县驻地西南尧山乡。⑵属巨鹿郡。乾元元年（758年）属邢州。⑶五代因之。北宋熙宁六年（1073年）废，地入内丘县。⑷
