北宋至道三年（997年），高阳县来属，⑴辖境扩大。治高阳县⑵（今河北高阳县驻地高阳镇东旧城镇）。⑶属河北西路。金天会七年（1129年）升为安州。⑷

⑵按：《金史?地理志》安州、《通志》卷40均言顺安军治高阳县，当是高阳县来隶时迁治。
⑶嘉庆《清一统志》卷14《保定府三》：“高阳故城在今高阳县东。……《寰宇记》：县在瀛州西北七十里。旧志：明洪武三年河溢，县始迁丰家口，即今治，东去古城二十五里。”（第6册，第7页）
