北宋太平兴国六年（981年）六月置。⑴治保塞县（今河北保定市区）。⑵隶河北西路。宣和七年（1125年）安肃县、博野县来隶，⑵辖境扩大。

⑵《宋会要辑稿》方域五之三四：“安肃军，太平兴国六年以易州宥戎镇地置静戎军。景德元年改。宣和七年升为军，隶保州。安肃县，六年以遂城县三乡为静戎县，景德元年改。”（第8册，第7400页上）
按：据《宋史?地理志》记载，当是宣和七年废安肃军。据《宋会要辑稿》，安肃县当是并入保州。",
