三国魏治阳乐县，⑴在今河北卢龙县卢龙镇东南。⑵领阳乐、肥如、海阳、临渝、令支等5县。西晋领阳乐、肥如、海阳等县。⑶

⑵乾隆《清一统志》卷14永平府：“阳乐故城，在抚宁县西。汉置属辽西郡。后汉为郡治。晋因之。后魏仍属辽西郡。北齐省。郦道元《水经注》：《地理风俗记》曰：阳乐，故燕也，辽西郡治。秦始皇二十二年置。魏氏《土地记》曰：海阳城西南有阳乐城。《后汉书注》：阳乐故城在平州东。旧《志》：在今抚宁县西闗外。按阳乐，后汉时为辽西郡治。《赵苞传》：为辽西太守，迎母到郡，道经栁城。则阳乐故县应在栁城之东，今府东北口外。旧《志》：陡河西南百里有阳乐城，是也。岂魏晋时移此城于肥如东界耶。”
