西汉宣帝五凤二年（前56年）改平干国置。⑴治广平县（今河北鸡泽县鸡泽镇东南）。⑵后辖广平、张、朝平、南和、列人、斥章、任、曲周、南曲、曲梁、广乡、平利、平乡、阳台、广年、城乡等县、侯国。哀帝建平三年（公元前4年）复改广平国。⑶
