汉武帝元鼎五年（前112年）封任破胡为梁期侯。⑴治所在今河北磁县磁州镇东北。⑵属魏郡。太始四年（前93年）改县。⑶

⑶按：《汉书?地理志》（中华书局，第6册，第1573页）魏郡有梁期县，未言始置年代。当是先封侯国，后改县。",
