秦县。⑴治所在今河北望都县望都镇西北故县村。⑵秦属恒山郡。西汉先后属中山国、郡，新莽时改名顺调县。⑶

⑴后晓荣：《秦代政区地理》：“战国赵三孔布有‘王夸’布，解读为‘望诸’，又称‘望都’、‘庆都’，均为同一地名之音转。《汉志》中山国属县望都，战国时此地先属中山国，后属赵。。……从此币文和文献看，赵置望都县，西汉沿置，推之秦也设置此县，其故址地望在今河北省望都县西北三十里。”（社会科学文献出版社2009年版，第358页。）
