约刘玄更始元年（公元23年）以延亿县恢复旧名。⑴治所在今河北行唐县行唐镇北。⑵东汉属常山国、郡。⑶三国属常山郡。⑷西晋因之。⑸

⑴按：王莽败后，全国复汉旧郡、县名，但何时复名，未详。据《后汉书》卷11《刘玄刘盆子传》：更始即帝位，建元曰更始元年（23年），“是时海内豪桀翕然响应，皆杀其牧守，自称将军，用汉年号，以待诏命，旬月之间，徧于天下”。（2册，469页）据此，姑作刘玄更始元年（23年）复旧名。
⑵嘉庆《清一统志》卷28：“南行唐故城，在今行唐縣北。漢縣。本戰國趙邑也。《史記》：趙惠文王八年，城南行唐。《魏書?地形志》：行唐縣，熙平中移治犢乾城。舊《志》：今縣北三十里有行唐故城，俗謂之故郡城，置故郡社，以後魏嘗置唐郡於此也。”（第3页A）
