     约秦庄襄王三十五年（前272年）置，属南阳郡（1），秦二世三年（前207年）属汉，新莽天凤元年（14年）属前队郡，更始元年（23年）仍属南阳郡（2）。东汉同（3）。约西晋泰始二年（266年）省入棘阳（4）。治今河南唐河南湖阳镇（5）。
