王莽始建国元年（9年）改河阳侯国复为县，属河内郡（1），天凤元年（14）改名河亭（2）。治今河南洛阳市东北吉利区冶戍西北（孟县即孟州市西南，原属孟县）（3）。

注：
（1）《汉书》卷16《高惠高后文功臣表》：河阳严侯陈涓，（六年）三月封。（北京，中华书局，1962年，2册，561页）元康时尚存，未详何年废，王莽始建国元年，诸侯王皆称公。（12册，4105页）姑作此年废。
（2）《汉书》卷28《地理志上》：河内郡，莽曰后队，属司隶。河阳，莽曰河亭。（6册，1554页）卷99中《王莽传中》：天凤元年，分三辅为六尉部，河东、河内、弘农、河南、颍川、南阳为六队郡。（12册，4136页）今作此年改，王莽败亡复故。
（3）《太平寰宇记》卷52《河北道一》：孟州河阳县，今县西北三十五里有古城，即汉理。《冀州图经》河阳在河内郡南六十四里，有宫有幸阙，魏晋如之，高齐省入温、轵二县。（北京，中华书局，2007年，3册，1077页）乾隆《怀庆府志》卷4《舆地》：孟县，河阳城，在县西南三十里。《河南省地名词典》洛阳市吉利区冶戍镇，曾名野戍镇，春秋河阳邑，后为河阳县治，唐为孟州治，金降为镇。孟县，秦河雍县，治今城关镇西南17.5公里冶戍镇,西汉改称河阳县，晋末废。（北京，商务印书馆，1993年，279页）《孟县地名志》河阳，洛阳市吉利区冶戍村。（1986年）吉利区在洛阳市东北。按：据《水经?河水注》河阳故城在冶坂西北，非一地。如以今冶戍当古冶坂，则其地犹在其西北，南临黄河。",
