   约东汉永元九年（97年）置（1），属陈国，约永初元年（107年）改属汝南郡（2），约建安十八年（213年）省（3）。治今河南郸城南宜路镇（4）

（1）《后汉书志》20《郡国志二》：汝南郡宜禄，“永元中复。”（北京，中华书局，1965年，12册，3424页）按：永元共十六年，次年改元，今取其中，作永元九年（97年）。
（2）《后汉书志》卷50《陈敬王羡传》：陈敬王羡封为陈王，食淮阳郡，其年就国，立三十七年薨，子钧立，永元十二年，封钧六弟为侯，后钧有罪，坐削圉、宜禄、扶沟三县，永初七年，封敬王孙为侯。（6册，1668页）据上并参照《郡国志》，宜禄原属陈国，后始削出，宜禄从陈国（淮阳）划出，约在永元十二（100年）年至永初七年（113年）之间，今取其中，当永初元年（107年）。
  （3）《清嘉庆一统志》卷191《陈州府一?古迹》：宜禄废县，永元中复置，魏、晋间废。（商务印书馆，1934年，《四部丛刊续编》70册）《晋书?地理志》不载，《后汉书志》28《百官志》刘昭注引《献帝起居注》建安十八年三月庚寅，省并州郡。（12册，3626页）姑作此年废。
（4）《水经注疏》卷22《渠水》：明水上承沙水支津，东出迳汝南郡之宜禄县故城北，王莽之赏都亭也。（南京，江苏古籍出版社，1989年，中册，1920页）《清嘉庆一统志》卷191《陈州府一?古迹》：宜禄废县，在沈丘县北。《河南省地名词典》：郸城县，1952年析鹿邑、淮阳、沈丘三县设；宜路镇，在城关镇南偏东18.5公里，汉为宜禄县治，后演变为宜路店，俗称宜路。（北京，商务印书馆，1993年，436-7页）《沈丘县志》第2编第1章第2节载，1945年沈丘县政区图宜路乡有宜路店。（河南郑州，河南人民出版社，1987年，74页）按：其地原属沈丘，与记载相符。",
