    宋元祐元年（1086年）析商水、项城二县复置南顿县，属陈州，宣和元年（1119年）属淮宁府（1）。刘豫属陈州，南宋绍兴九年（1139年）仍属为淮宁府（2），金属陈州（3），蒙古至元二年（1265年）省入商水县（4）。治今河南项城西南南顿镇北（5）。
