乾隆四十七年（1782），置安康县为兴安府治，并省汉阴入之。（1）

注：
（1）、《清史稿》卷63：兴安府：繁，疲，难。隶陕安道。总兵驻。明曰兴安州，领县六。乾隆四十七年升府，置安康县为府治，并省汉阴入之。五十五年，复置汉阴厅。北距省治六百八十里。广七百六十里，袤六百二十里。北极高三十二度三十二分。京师偏西七度六分。领厅一，县六。安康繁，疲，难。倚。明为兴安州，新旧治均在汉南，万历十一年徙新治。顺治四年还旧治。康熙四十六年复徙新治。乾隆四十七年州升府，改置。北：梅花、牛首。南：赵台。西：凤凰。东北：白云山。西南：魏山。汉水自西紫阳缘界折北入，迳城北，右纳大道河，左蒿坪河、月河、神滩河，东北入洵阳。东南：八仙河汛。通判、县丞同驻西南砖坪。西：泰郊、衡口二镇。（中华书局，1977年，第2100页）",
