洪武十一年（1377）复省平利县。（1）万历二十三年（1595），属兴安州。（2）旧治在西北灌河口。乾隆四十七年（1782），属兴安府。（3）

注：
（1）、《明史》卷42志18地理三：“平利，州南，少东。元末省。洪武三年置，属四川大宁州。五年二月来属。十年六月复省，后复置。”（中华书局，1977年，第8册，第1010页）。
按：元末省平利县的时间无考，暂定其灭亡之年。
按：洪武年间平利县废而复置的时间无考，暂定为洪武十一年。
