明为兴安州。乾隆四十七年（1782年），州升府，置安康县为府治，汉阴县被并入。治所即今县所在地。（1）

（1）、《清史稿》卷63志38地理十陕西：兴安府“安康明为兴安州，新旧治均在汉南，万历十一年徙新治。顺治四年还旧治。康熙四十六年复徙新治。乾隆四十七年州升府，改置。……汉阴厅繁，疲，难，简。府西北百八十里。明，县。乾隆四十七年省入安康，设盐捕通判。五十五年复置为厅，改抚民。东南：梁门山。东北：朝阳山。南：文华、凤天山。池河自宁陕入，合龙王沟，又西南入石泉，注汉。汉水自西南迳城南，受富水河、木樨河，东南入紫阳。月河出厅西分水岭，纳花石河，东南入安康，合衡河，注汉。”（中华书局，1977年，第8册，第2101页）。",
