刘宋永初元年（420），上廉析置吉阳县，隶梁州魏兴太守。（1）萧齐属梁州上庸郡。（2）

注：
（1）、《宋书》卷37志27州郡三：“梁州刺史……魏兴太守……上廉令，《晋太康地志》、《永初郡国》、徐并属上庸，何无。”（中华书局，1974年，第1146年）。
《读史方舆纪要》卷56陕西五：“上廉城，在县治东。晋太康初置，刘宋析置吉阳县，齐复分置上廉县，仍属上庸郡。梁因之，西魏并入吉安。”（中华书局，2005年，第2710页）。
按：刘宋析置吉阳县的时间无考，暂定为其建国的永初元年。
