嘉泰二年（1202），褒城徙治于山河堰东南五里。（1）洪武十年（1377），省入南郑县。（2）

注：
（1）、《读史方舆纪要》卷56陕西五：苞中城“晋义熙中，改曰苞中。沈约曰：‘谯纵灭梁，州还治汉中之苞中县。’县在南郑西南，亦谓之南城。宋初因之。元嘉十年，仇池氐杨难当南寇，刺史甄法护为所攻，南城失守。明年，刺史萧思话遗萧承之追击难当将赵温至南城，寻又遣行参军王云济出洋川，攻难当将赵英于南城，拔之。以南城焚毁不可复固，乃移治南郑是也。后魏永平初复置褒中县于此，隋唐为褒城县治。志云：旧褒城治县南十里打钟村，宋嘉泰中徙治于山河堰东南五里，后又徙今治。”（中华书局，2000年，第2675-2676页）。
按：嘉泰年间褒城县徙治的具体时间无考，嘉泰年号只有四年，故“中”暂定为嘉泰二年。
