大业二年（606），改洛邑为虢县。贞观八年（634），省入岐山。（1）

注：
（1）、《太平寰宇记》：“虢縣，南四十里，舊四鄉，今六鄉。古虢國之地，即周文王弟虢叔所封，是曰西虢。按《禮記》注謂：虢或謂郭，在武都南一百里，有虢叔城是也。又按《地理志》云：虢、漢併於雍，今虢縣。後魏立為武都郡。大統十三年，遷同州洛邑縣於武都城西置洛邑縣，還取舊名。後周天和中，又於洛邑置朔州，尋廢州，移州原郡理之。隋開皇三年，廢郡，以縣屬岐州。大業三年，改洛邑為虢縣。唐貞觀七年廢，至天授二年復置。”（中华书局，
