贞观八年（634），岐阳县省入岐山，移县治于凤翔府西五十里石猪驿南。（1）

（1）、《隋书》卷29志24地理上：扶风郡“ 雍，后魏置秦平郡，西魏改为岐山郡，开皇三年郡废。大业初置扶风郡。有岐阳宫。岐山，后周曰三龙县，开皇十六年改名焉。又有后魏周城县，后周废。有岐山。”（中华书局，1973年，第809页）。
   《元和郡县志》：“岐山縣，次畿，西至府五十里。本漢雍縣之地。周武帝天和四年，割涇州鶉觚縣之南界置三龍縣。開皇十六年，移三龍縣于岐山南十里，改為岐山縣。貞觀八年，移于今理。”（中华书局，

《读史方舆纪要》卷55陕西四：“岐山旧县，在今县东北。后周割泾州鹑觚原地，置三龙县。其地近州长武县界。隋开皇十六年，移县于岐山南，因改今名。大业九年，又移治于今治东北八里岐山麓。唐武德初，复移岐阳县界之张堡垒。七年，又移于龙尾驿城。贞观八年，移治于石猪驿南。即今治也。今县治东北有岐周驿。”（中华书局，1982年，第2639页）。",
