周闵帝元年（557），县治迁于今临潼县东北新丰镇东南七里。（1）

注：
（1）、《太平寰宇记》卷27昭应县：昭應縣 東五十八里，舊十八鄉，今二鄉。縣即漢新豐之地，本驪戎國，晉獻公伐驪戎是此城，秦?之爲驪邑。漢高帝七年，以太上皇思彭城之豐欲東歸，於是高帝築此爲新豐縣，屬京兆。今縣東十二里故城，即漢縣之所。后漢靈帝末，移安定郡隂盤縣寄理於此城，人亦謂之隂盤城。后魏太和九年，自此移隂盤縣於今昭應縣東三十二里冷水西戲水東司馬村故城也。其新豐縣自隂盤縣寄理之后，又移理於故城三十里，葢在靈水側。周閔帝元年，又徙於天寳廢新豐縣東南七里。隋大業六年，又移於天寳中廢縣所治。垂拱二年，以新豐縣東南三十里有山踊出，因改爲慶山縣。天授二年，於縣界靈口置鴻州，取慶山、渭南兩縣十二鄉於郭下置鴻門縣，與慶山、高陵、櫟陽、渭南五縣並屬焉。至久視元年，廢州并廢鴻門縣。神龍元年，復為新豐縣。天寳末，元宗每嵗十月幸温湯嵗盡而歸，以縣去湯泉稍逺，四年廢新豐，改爲?昌縣。后以太宗昭陵之故，數有應徵事，宰臣稱賀，至七載十二月，改爲昭應。（中华书局，",
