大业九年（613），移治于今所。（1）

注：
（1）、《太平寰宇记》：“興平縣，西九十里，舊二十鄉，今六鄉。本周犬邱之地也。按漢地里志：周曰犬邱，秦曰廢邱，項羽封章邯為王都於此。漢高帝改為槐里，今縣北故城是也。武帝又割置茂陵縣，以茂陵在此邑。昭帝又割其地置平陵縣，以平陵之故也，屬右扶風。魏黄初元年，改為始平國，因原以建名。歴晉至苻堅，移於茂陵城。后魏永安元年，移於今縣東北十五里。魏恭帝元年，又移于東北二十五里。大象二年，移于今縣東南十五里文學城。隋大業九年，自文學城移于今所。唐景龍四年，車駕送金城公主置縣，因改為金城縣，置於馬嵬故城，即姚萇時扶風王駢以數千人保馬嵬故城是此處也。至德二年，復為興平縣，後又復為金城。今改為興平。”（中华书局，",
