元康元年（前65），改杜县为杜陵，属京兆尹。（1）

注：
（1）、《汉书》卷8帝纪8宣帝纪：“元康元年春，以杜东原上为初陵，更名杜县为杜陵。徙丞相、将军、列侯、吏二千石、訾百万者杜陵。三月，诏曰：“乃者凤皇集泰山、陈留，甘露降未央宫。朕未能章先帝休烈，协宁百姓，承天顺地，调序四时，获蒙嘉瑞，赐兹祉福，夙夜兢兢，靡有骄色，内省匪解，永惟罔极。《书》不云乎？‘凤皇来仪，庶尹允谐。’其赦天下徒，赐勤事吏中二千石以下至六百石爵，自中郎吏至五大夫，佐史以上二级，民一级，女子百户牛酒。加赐鳏寡孤独、三老、孝弟力田帛。所振贷勿收。”夏五月，立皇考庙。益奉明园户为奉明县。”（中华书局，1962年，第254页）
