秦简公七年（前408 ）筑重泉城，始皇二十六年（前221）置县。①属内史。高帝二年（前205 ）属河上郡，九年（前198 ）属内史，武帝建元六年（前135）属左内史，太初元年（前104 ）属左冯翊。②治今蒲城县龙池乡重泉村。③
