秦始皇二十六年（前221 ）置，属内史①。高帝二年（前205 ）属河上郡，九年（前198 ）属内史，武帝建元六年（前135 ）属左内史，太初元年（前104 ）属左冯翊。②治今大荔县朝邑镇西南二里。③
