唐贞观二年（628）移大斌县治于，属绥州。天宝元年（742）属上郡，乾元元年（758）属绥州。①唐末县废，治今绥德县城西南。②

《旧唐书》卷38?志第十八：地理一?绥州，隋雕阴郡。武德三年，于延州丰林县置绥州总管府，领西和、南平、北基、银、云、贞、上、殄、北吉、匡、龙等十一州。其绥州领上、大斌、城平、绥德、延福五县。六年，移治所于延州延川县界。七年，又移治城平县界魏平废城。贞观二年，平梁师都，罢都督府，移州治上县。天宝元年，改为上郡。乾元元年，复为绥州。（中华书局，1975 年，5 册，1412 页）

《读史方舆纪要》卷57?陕西六：绥德州?魏平城，在州西南百五十里。……又大斌废县，亦在州西南。西魏置，又立安政郡治焉。隋初，郡废。大业末，复省县入魏平。唐武德七年，侨置于魏平城中。贞观二年，复还旧治，仍属绥州。永淳二年，稽胡白铁余叛，据城平，进攻绥德、大斌二县。发兵讨平之，是也。唐末废。（中华书局，2005 年，6 册，2742 页）",
