  "source note" : "威楚县（738—901年）治所：（周琼编写）<br><br>唐开元二十六年（738年）南诏蒙氏置，隶安州（1）。地约在今楚雄市境，治所文献无载，故无考（2）。唐天复二年（南诏中兴五年，公元902年）废（3）。<br><br>（1）顾祖禹撰《读史方舆纪要》卷116《云南四?楚雄府》：“楚雄县，附廓，南诏时属安州威楚县。后为爨蛮所据。”（贺次君、施和金校点本，北京：中华书局2005年，第10册，第5128页）《嘉庆重修一统志?楚雄府》：“唐时南诏置安州及威楚县，后为爨蛮所据。”（丛刊13卷，581页）因南诏置安州的时间史籍无载，姑以南诏建国时间，即皮罗阁开元二十六年（738年）被封为云南王的时间为安州建立的时间。威楚县设置时间亦无载，姑以属州安州设置时间为为楚县设置时间。<br>（2）《读史方舆纪要?云南四》：“楚雄县，附廓，南诏时属安州威楚县。后为爨蛮所据。”（顾祖禹撰，贺次君、施和金校点《读史方舆纪要》卷116《云南四?楚雄府》，北京：中华书局2005年，第10册，第5128页）《嘉庆重修一统志?楚雄府》：“唐时南诏置安州及威楚县，后为爨蛮所据。”（丛刊13卷，581页）。据此，安州属县威楚县地约在今楚雄市境，治所文献无载，故无考。<br>（3）顾祖禹撰《读史方舆纪要》卷116《云南四?楚雄府》：“楚雄县，附廓，南诏时属安州威楚县。后为爨蛮所据。”（贺次君、施和金校点本，北京：中华书局2005年3月版，第10册，第5128页）废置时间因无其他史料记载，姑以南诏灭亡（902年）时间为安州废止时间。州废后，属县威楚当废。",
