  "source note" : "姚城县（621—749）治所：(周琼编写)<br><br>唐武德四年（621年）置县，属姚州，为姚州附郭（1）。治今云南省姚安县西北十七里光禄镇旧城村（2）。属剑南道姚州都督府云南郡（3）。天宝九年（750年）废（4）。<br><br><br>（1）《元和郡县图志》（下）卷32《剑南道中·姚州》：“姚州……管县三，姚城、……。”（贺次君点校本，北京：中华书局1983年6月版，第824页）《太平寰宇记·剑南西道八》：“姚州……领县三，姚城，……。”（丛刊1卷，581页）同书又：“姚城县，……唐因立州，改为姚城县。”（丛刊1卷，582页），《贞元十道条·姚州》：“姚诚（城），附廓。”则知姚城县为姚州附廓，故知有州时亦当有县，因无其他资料佐证，故其设置时间亦当以姚州设置时间为准，<br>（2）《太平寰宇记·剑南西道八》：“姚城县，本汉弄栋县地，因川为名，……置在姚府旧城北百余步。”（丛刊1卷，582页），当在今姚安县城北十八公里处之光禄旧城村。又，《中华人民共和国地名词典·云南省·姚安县》：“唐武德四年（621年）以此地人多姓姚，置姚州和附廓县姚城，治今旧城。为姚州都督府驻地。”（朱惠荣主编《中华人民共和国地名词典·云南省·姚安县》，第159页，北京：商务印书馆1994年10月版。）<br>（3）《新唐书》卷42《地理六》：“姚州云南郡，……姚城，下。故汉弄栋县地。”（北京：中华书局1975年，第4册，第1086页）《嘉庆重修一统志》卷480《楚雄府表·姚州》：“唐置姚城县，为姚州都督府治，隶剑南道。”<br>（4）《新唐书》卷222上《南蛮传上·南诏传上》：“（天宝七载）阁罗凤立，……虔陀数诟靳之，阴表其罪，由是忿怨，反，发兵攻虔陀，杀之，取姚州及小夷州凡三十二。”（北京：中华书局1975年，第20册，第6271页）又《新唐书》卷5《玄宗本纪》：“（天宝九载）是岁（750年），云南蛮陷云南郡，都督张虔陀死之。”（北京：中华书局1975年，第1册，第147页）据此，姚城县废。",
