  "source note" : "陵城县（621-971年）<br><br>唐武德四年（621年）置，属铜州，贞观八年（634年）州更名容州，县仍属之，天宝元年（742年）属普宁郡，乾元元年（758年）复属容州（1）。治所即今广西北流县东民安镇（2）。宋开宝五年（972年）废入北流县（3）。<br><br>注：<br>（1）《旧唐书》卷41·地理4·容州：“隋合浦郡之北流县。武德四年平萧铣，置铜州，领北流、豪石、宕昌、渭龙、南流、陵城、普宁、新安八县。贞观元年（《新唐书》《寰宇记》作八年更名）改为容州，以容山为名。十一年省新安县。天宝元年改为普宁郡，乾元原年复为容州都督府。旧领县七，天宝后领县五：北流，州所治，汉合浦县地，隋置北流县。普宁，隋置。陵城，武德四年析北流置。渭龙，武德四年析普宁置。欣道，新置。”（中华书局，1975年，5册，1743页）。<br>《唐书》卷43上·地理7：“容州普宁郡，本铜州南巴郡，武德四年以合浦郡之北流、普宁置。贞观八年更名，元和中徙治普宁。”“县六：普宁。北流，武德四年析置豪石、宕昌、南流、陵城、新安五县，贞观十一年省新安，后又省豪石、宕昌。陵城。渭龙，武德四年析普宁置。欣道，本宁人，隶滕州，贞观二十三年更名，来属。陆川，本隶东峨州，唐末来属。”（北京，中华书局，1975年，4册，1109页）。作元和八年迁治。<br>（2）《寰宇记》卷167·容州陆川县：“废陵城县，在州西三十八里，…皇朝并入北流。”（金陵书局，光绪八年刊本，30册）。《读史方舆纪要》卷108·梧州府北流县陵城废县：“在县东南。…宋开宝五年省入北流县。”（中华书局，5册，4424页）。蒙起鹏《广西通志稿》郡县沿革北流县下：“今县东南陵城乡是。”按据《寰宇记》载，容州治北流。按容州早在唐元和间已迁现普宁（治今容县），故此距州里数应指今容县而言，则与近志所云颇相符合。今姑置陵城县于今容县西南，北流县东处之北流县东民安镇。<br>（3）《宋史》卷90地理6·容州：“普宁郡。开宝五年，废欣道、渭龙、陵城三县。县三：普宁，开宝五年，废绣州，以常林、阿林、罗绣三县并入焉；陆川，开宝五年，废顺州，省龙豪、温水、龙化、南和四县入焉。九年移治公平。淳化五年又徙治于旧温水县；北流，开宝五年废禺州，以峨石、扶莱、罗辨、陵城四县地入焉。”（中华书局，1977年，7册，2242页）。",
