  "source note" : "布山县（前214-605年）<br><br>秦始皇三十三年（前214年）置，为桂林郡治，汉武帝元鼎六年（前111年）改为郁林郡治，王莽天凤元年（14年）为郁平郡治，更始元年（23年）复为郁林郡治，后皆因之（1）。治所在今广西桂平县西南白沙镇（2）。梁天监元年（502年），郡治迁郁林，县仍属之（3）。隋开皇十年（590年），属尹州，大业二年（606年）废入郁林县（4）。<br><br>注：<br>（1）《汉书》卷28下《地理志》8下：“郁林郡，故秦桂林郡，属尉佗。武帝元鼎六年（前111年）开，更名。…莽曰郁平，属交州…县十二：布山，安广，阿林，广郁…，中留，桂林，潭中…莽曰中潭，临尘…莽曰监尘，…定周…，增食…，领方…，雍鸡…。”（北京，中华书局，1962年，6册，1628页）。作武帝元鼎六年（前111年）置布山县，为郁林郡治。<br>据谭其骧《秦郡新考》所附‘秦郡图’桂林郡，（《长水集》上册，人民出版社，1987年，12页。）定郡治于布山县。是布山县当为秦置，作秦始皇三十三年置桂林郡设布山县为郡治所。<br>《后汉书》卷23郡国5：“郁林郡，秦桂林郡，武帝更名。…十一城…：布山，安广，阿林，广郁，中溜，桂林，潭中，临尘，定周，增食，领方。”（中华书局，1965年，12册，3531页）。<br>《晋书》卷15地理下广州郁林郡：“秦置桂林郡，汉武帝更名。统县九：布山，阿林，新邑，晋平，始建，郁平，领方，武熙，安广。”（中华书局，1974年，2册，467页）。<br>《宋书》卷38州郡4广州郁林郡：领县十七，“布山令，汉旧县。领方令，汉旧县，吴改曰临浦，晋武复旧。阿林令，汉旧县。郁平令，吴立曰阴平，晋武太康元年更名。…。”（中华书局，1974年，4册，1195页）。<br>《南齐书》卷14州郡上：广州郁林郡：“布山，郁平，阿林，建安，始集，龙平，宾平，新林，绥宁，中胄，领方，怀安，归化，晋平，威化。”（中华书局，1972年，1册，265页）。<br>（2）《嘉庆一统志》卷470·浔州府·古迹·布山废县：“在贵县东。…隋大业初，省入郁林县。旧志，废县在府西五十里。”（《四部丛刊续编》，商务印书馆，1934年，176册）。据此，姑定于今广西桂平县西南白沙镇。<br>（3）《读史方舆纪要》卷108·浔州府桂平县：“布山废县，府西五十里。汉县，郁林郡治也，后皆因之。梁析置桂平县，又改置郁林县为郡治，以布山县属焉。隋属尹州，大业初省。”（中华书局，5册，4432页）。<br>（4）《隋书》卷31地理下：“郁林郡，梁置定州，后改为南定州。平陈改为尹州，大业初改为郁州。统县十二：郁林，旧置郁林郡。平陈郡废。大业初又置，又废武平、龙山、怀泽、布山四县入；郁平；…。”（中华书局，1973年，3册，883页）。",
