  "source note" : "兴平县（622-626年）<br><br>武德五年（622年）析怀集县置，属威州（1）。治所在今广东怀集县境内，故址不详（2）。贞观元年（627年）州废，县省入怀集（3）。<br><br>注：<br>（1）《唐书》卷43上·地理7上·广州南海郡·怀集县：“武德五年置威州，并析置兴平、霍清、威成三县。贞观元年州废，省兴平、霍清、威成入怀集。开元二年，省永固县入焉。”（中华书局，1975年，5册，1111页）。<br>（2）《读史方舆纪要》卷108梧州·怀集县：“兴平废县，在县境。唐武德五年置威州，兼置兴平、霍清、威成三县属焉。贞观初废，以上三县省入怀集。”（中华书局，5册，4412页）。按，兴平、霍清、威成三县，均应在今怀集县境内。故址不详。<br>（3）见注（1）。",
