  "source note" : "临尘县（前214-13年）<br><br>秦始皇三十三年（前214年）置，为象郡治，汉昭帝元凤五年（前76年）郡废，县改属郁林郡（1）。治所即今广西崇左县（2）。王莽天凤元年（14年），更名监尘县（3）。<br><br>注：<br>（1）《史记》卷6·秦始皇本纪：三十三年，“略取陆梁地，为桂林、象郡、南海，以適遣戍。”卷113·南越列传：“秦并天下，略定扬粤，置桂林、南海、象郡以適徙民与粤杂处。（北京，中华书局，1959年，1、9册，253、2967页）。<br>《汉书》卷1下·高帝纪下：臣瓒注“《茂陵书》象郡治临尘。”（北京，中华书局，1962年，1册，54页）。<br>《汉书》卷7·昭帝纪：元凤五年“秋，罢象郡，分属郁林、牂柯。”（北京，中华书局，1962年，1册，231页）。<br>（2）《汉志》临尘县：“朱涯水入领方，又有斤员水，又有侵离水，行七百里”；又领方县：“斤员水入郁”。兹考朱涯水，盖指今越南高平之平江及广西之水口河；斤员水盖指今越南谅山奇穷河西支及文广西之平而河；侵离水则为今广西宁明之明江。而三江汇合后，今称左江，汉时则或谓朱涯水，或谓斤员水。以此水经形势推度，是《广西历代郡县沿革简编》置临尘于今广西崇左县，当不致误。（《清统志》太平府沿革表也云，崇善县（今崇左）汉为临尘、壅鸡等县地）。<br>（3）《汉书》卷28下·地理志8下：“郁林郡，故秦桂林郡，属尉佗。武帝元鼎六年开，更名。…莽曰郁平。属交州。”领“县十二：布山；安广；阿林；广郁；中留；桂林；潭中，莽曰中潭；临尘，莽曰监尘；定周；增食；领方；雍鸡。”（北京，中华书局，1962年，6册，1628页）。",
