  "source note" : "孱陵县（前202年——13年）（钱林书编写）<br><br>西汉高祖五年（前202年）置。（1）治柴林街（今湖北公安县西黄金口东北）。（2）属长沙国，元康元年（前105年）改属武陵郡。（3）新莽天凤元年（14年）改名孱陆。（3）<br><br>注：<br>（1）《汉书》卷28上《地理志八上》武陵郡：高帝置，领有孱陵县。（北京，中华书局，1962年，6册，1594页）按：清王先谦《汉书补注·地理志八上三》武陵郡孱陵县：“先谦曰：高帝五年置。”（北京，商务印书馆，1959年，4册，2789页）当作西汉高祖五年（前202年）置。<br>（2）《太平寰宇记》卷146《山南东道五·荆州》公安县：“即后汉作唐县地，在西偏又为孱陵县地，俱属吴之南郡。《荆州记》云：先主败于襄阳奔荆州，吴大帝推先主为左将军荆州牧镇油口，即居此城。时号先主为公，故名其城为公安也。”（金陵书局，光绪八年刊本，26册，13页）又公安县志编纂委员会《公安县志》之《建置沿革》下曰：油江口即今斗湖堤。（上海，汉语大词典出版社，1990年，3页）按：油口即油江口，也即今斗湖堤。据中华人民共和国民政部编《中华人民共和国行政区》（1949——1997）湖北省1990年公安县治斗湖堤镇。（北京，中国社会出版社，1998年，1257页）则孱陵县在今公安县西。顾祖禹《读史方舆纪要》卷78《湖广四·荆州府》公安县孱陵城：在“县西二十五里。”（北京，中华书局，1955年，4册，3341页）按：清初公安县也治今公安县。又公安县志编纂委员会《公安县志》之《建置沿革》：“公元前202年建孱陵县时，县城在柴林街（今黄金口东北齐居寺村）又名孱陵街。”（上海，汉语大词典出版社，1990年，3页）按：据《湖北省地图集》，今湖北公安县西二十里处有黄金口，（湖北省地图集编篡委员会，武汉，1965年，67页）其东北当是。而清《嘉庆一统志》卷344《荆州府·古迹》孱陵故城：“在公安县南。”（《四部丛刊续编》，商务印书馆，1934年，127册，20、21页）按：清嘉庆末年时，公安县治祝家岗（今湖北公安县西南花大堰西）。则孱陵县治在今公安县花大堰西之南。与之不同。<br>（3）《汉书》卷28上《地理志八上》武陵郡：高帝置，领有孱陵县。（北京，中华书局，1962年，6册，1594页）周振鹤《西汉政区地理》刘姓长沙国：“宣帝时，刺王建德有罪削八县（《汉书·长沙定王传》）。此八县史籍不详其名，估计削于元康元年之后。因为《汉志》南郡高城侯国与长沙国之间尚隔着武陵郡的索、孱陵、临沅，长沙国不能越此三县而有高城，故可推测大约在分封高城侯国后，三县方削入武陵。”又武陵郡下曰：“宣帝中，得长沙国削三县：临沅、索县、孱陵。”（北京，人民出版社，1987年，124、125，128页）按：故作宣帝元康元年（前105年）改属武陵郡。<br>（4）《汉书》卷28下《地理志八上》武陵郡孱陵县：“莽曰孱陆。”（北京，中华书局，1962年，6册，1594页）按：具体改名年代未详。据《汉书》卷99中《王莽传中》：天凤元年（14年），“郡县以亭为名者三百六十，以应符命文也”。又曰：郡有内郡、近郡、边郡，“合百二十有五郡。九州之内，县二千二百有三”。（12册，4136—4137页）据此，姑作县在新莽天凤元年（14年）改名孱陆。",
