三国魏黄初元年（220）改司吾侯国为司吾县（1）。治今江苏新沂市南司吾（2）。属下邳郡（3）。西晋太康元年（280年）改属临淮郡（4）。永宁元年（301年）属临淮国（5）。永嘉五年（311年）废（6）。
注：
（1）《续汉书·郡国志三》下邳国领“司吾侯国”（《后汉书志》卷21，北京，中华书局，1965年，12册，3462页）不记何年改封和废止，无可查考，《后汉书》卷1《光武帝纪下》：建武十三年（37年），“其以兴为临湘侯，得这真定侯、邵为乐成侯，茂为单父侯。其宗室及绝国封侯者凡一百三十七人。”（北京，中华书局，1965年，1册，61页）司吾县之封为侯国，或在此时，其废止当在魏文帝曹丕于延康元年（220年）代汉称帝接位之时。
（2）《太平寰宇记》卷17《河南道十七》宿迁县：“司吾，在今县西北十里司吾故城是也。即古锺吾子国，吴灭之，汉为县。”（金陵书局，光绪八年刊本，4册，12页）清《嘉庆一统志》卷101《徐州府·古迹》引《太平寰宇记》“十里”作“七十里”，则今本《太平寰宇记》脱“七”字。《嘉庆一统志》又引《旧志》云：“司吾镇，在今县北六十里。”（《四部丛刊续编》，商务印书馆，1934年，33册，4——5页）按今江苏新沂市南司吾，正在宿迁市北（《江苏省地图集》，江苏省地图集编辑组，1978年，66页），即是。

（4）《晋书》卷15《地理志下》：临淮郡，“汉置，章帝以合下邳，太康元年复立”，领有司吾县（北京，中华书局，1974年，2册，452页）。
（5）《宋书》卷35《州郡志一》：淮陵郡，本淮陵县，“惠帝永宁无年，以为淮陵国”，领有司吾县（北京，中华书局，1974年，4册，1043页）。
（6）《晋书》卷15《地理志下》徐州后篇：“永嘉之乱，临淮、淮陵并沦没石氏。”（北京，中华书局，1974年，2册，452页）据《晋书》卷104《石勒载记上》，永嘉四年（310年）刘聪遣刘曜、石勒攻陷洛阳（同上引书，9册，2713页），临淮、淮陵于是年陷于石氏，其下之属县，并已陷没，此后即废。",
