（2）清《嘉庆一统志》卷97《扬州府·古迹》：“海安故城，在泰州东南一百里。”又云：海安镇，“在泰州东南，即故海安城。”（《四部丛刊续编》，商务印书馆，1934年，32册，2、7页）按清泰州，即今泰州市，从里路推计，即今海安县。郑宝恒《民国时期政区沿革》：紫石县，1943年置，“治海安镇（今江苏海安县驻地海安镇）。”“海安县，原名紫石县，1948年改名。”（武汉市，湖北教育出版社，2000年，259页）可见故海安县，即今海安县。",
