唐武德五年（622年）复置，属循州（1）。治所即今广东省陆丰县北大安镇（2）。贞观元年（627年）废（3）。

（1），《旧唐书》卷41?地理四?循州?海丰：“武德五年，分置陆安县。贞观初，并入页。”（北京，中华书局，1975年，5册，1715页）。
（2），《舆地纪胜》卷99?广南东路?惠州?古迹：“唐陆安县城，在海丰东七十里。《唐志》云，武德五年分县地置，贞观初后并入，此城遂废。”（北京，中华书局，1992年，4册，3090页）。《嘉庆一统志》卷445?惠州府?古迹?陆安废县：“在海丰县东南。齐置，属东官郡。梁陈间废。唐初复置，属循州，贞观元年省入海丰。《舆地纪胜》，唐陆安县在海丰县东七十里。县志，今为大安屯，有墟。”（《四部丛刊续编》，商务印书馆，1934年，166册）。故址即今广东省陆丰县北大安镇。
