（1），《嘉庆一统志》卷445?惠州府?古迹?长宁故城：“在今长宁县东北。本河源县地。明隆庆三年，总督吴桂芳平贼王亚六，奏割河源县长吉都，韶州英德县象冈、甘泉二都，翁源县清贵都，置县曰长宁。县志有故址，在长吉社沭河竹子霸，明隆庆时置县，知县仍于沭河治事，六年移治鸿雁洲，万历元年又移治君子峰下，即今之治。（《四部丛刊续编》，商务印书馆，1934年，166册）。按：隆庆六年治所鸿雁洲，即今广东省长宁县东鸿雁洲。
