⑴唐?魏徵：《隋书》卷31《地理下》：“辰溪，旧曰辰阳。平陈，改名；并废故夜郎郡，置静人县，寻废。”（中华书局，第3册，第890页）
按：因无具体时间，暂作次年废。
⑵嘉庆《清一统志》卷379《乾州直隶厅》：“夜郎废郡在乾州厅境。”（139册，3页）
按：静人县的具体位置，现已很难考证，现暂标在吉首市驻地西南，待详考。",
