三国吴永安元年（258年）避孙休讳，改名海阳县。属新都郡。①治所在今安徽休宁县东万安。②晋太康元年（280年）平吴，改名海宁。③
①〈太平寰宇记〉卷104歙州休宁：“吴避孙休之名，改为海阳县，仍移于万岁山上。”（光绪金陵书局本）
②〈太平寰宇记〉卷104歙州休宁：“吴避孙休之名，改为海阳县，仍移于万岁山上。……废海阳县在今县东十三里，旧名休阳，在灵鸟山上，避孙休之名，改为海阳县，仍移于万岁山上。至晋平吴，又改为海宁也。”（光绪金陵书局本）淳熙二年〈新安志〉卷4：“废海阳县在今县十三里万安山上。”今〈安徽省地图册〉72幅（安徽省测绘局，1984年）休宁县治（海阳镇）东有万安，当是。
