陈天嘉元年（560年）改乐安县置银城县，属鄱阳郡，隋开皇九年（589年）废入鄱阳县（1）。治今江西德兴东北银城畈（2）。
注：

（2）《清嘉庆一统志》卷312《饶州府二·古迹》：乐安故城“《德兴县志》乐安废县，在今县东乐平乡。”又银城废县“《明统志》在德兴县东一百二十里；县志，今名银冶堡。”（商务印书馆，1934年，《四部丛刊续编》，115册，2、3页。）清康熙二十三年《德兴县志》卷1《舆地志·古迹》：“乐平废县，在县东百里乐平乡九都银城堡。”（《中国方志丛书》华中地方923号，成文出版社有限公司，1册，150页。）按：银城系乐安改置，应即乐安故地，史载距德兴里数稍有不同，或资料有异，今县东有银城畈，（江西省测绘局，1988年，《江西省地图集》。）当是。",
