五代晋天福三年（938年）南唐以饶州乐平县邓公场置（1），属饶州，宋同（2）。元至元十四年（1277年）属饶州路，至正二十一年（1361年）朱元璋属鄱阳府，旋（1362年）属饶州府（3），清迄1911年不改（4）。治今江西德兴县（5）。
