元至元二十三年（1286年）升丰城县为富州，属龙兴路（1），至正二十二年（1362年）朱元璋属洪都府，二十三年（1363年）属南昌府，明洪武九年十二月（1377年）复为丰城县（2）。治今江西丰城市（3）。
