唐天祐二年十二月（906年）改丰城为吴皋（1），属洪州，约南唐升元元年（937年）复名丰城（2）。治今江西丰城市（3）。

（2）《清嘉庆一统志》卷308《南昌府一·建置沿革》丰城县：“天祐中改曰吴皋，五代南唐复曰丰城。”（商务印书馆，1934年，《四部丛刊续编》，113册，2页。）不知南唐何年所改，升元元年南唐代吴，今姑作此年改。
（3）明万历十六年《南昌府志》卷2《舆地类·沿革》：丰城县“唐永徽移治章水东，即今治。”（《中国方志丛书》华中地方810号，成文出版社有限公司，1册，172页。）《清嘉庆一统志》卷309《南昌府二·古迹》丰城故城：“曹学佺《名胜志》唐永徽初，迁县于章水东，始为今治。”（114册，2页。）按：章水即今赣江。",
