约东汉建安十五年（210年）孙权析南昌县置，属豫章郡，晋太康元年（280年）改名丰城。（1）治今江西丰城市南六十里，富水西（2）。
注：
（1）《宋书》卷36《州郡志二》豫章太守丰城：“吴立曰富城，晋武帝太康元年更名。”（北京，中华书局，1974年，4册，1087页。）《太平寰宇记》卷106《江南西道四》洪州丰城县：“汉南昌县地，属豫章，按顾野王《舆地志》云后汉建安中初立富城县于富水之西，因以为名，至晋太康元年改为丰城县，移于丰水之西，乃以为名。”（金陵书局，光绪八年，10页。）按：不知建安何年所置，《三国志》卷47《吴志·吴主传二》：建安“十五年分豫章为鄱阳郡。”（北京，中华书局，1975年，5册，1118页。）富城属豫章郡，今姑作此年由南昌县分置。
（2）《清嘉庆一统志》卷309《南昌府二·古迹》丰城故城：“县志，富城故城在县南六十里富城乡。”（商务印书馆，1934年，《四部丛刊续编》，114册，2页。）清丰城县即今丰城市，今市南直距约25公里处富水西有洛市镇，姑定位于此。",
